- HbA1c analysis in only 48 seconds - including mixing
- Unique stir/mix function for even more accurate results directly in mmol/mol
- All common types of sample tube can be mixed in one rack
- HPLC measurement, known as the gold standard (IFCC reference method)
The special stir/mix function enables the ADAMS™ A1c HA-8180 to give more accurate results directly in mmol/mol.
This guarantees a homogeneous mix which meets the highest volumetric standards (the IFCC requires measurements to be made directly in mmol/mol) and gives more accurate results than the previous ratio in percent. In addition to results in mmol/mol (IFCC), the ADAMS™ A1c HA-8180 continues to provide percentages (NGSP). The software in the device converts the measurements automatically.
Other features of the ADAMS™ A1c HA-8180
- Sample volume of approximately 14 μl of whole blood. No pre-dilution or hemolyzing required.
- Hemolyzed capillary blood samples can be measured without changing the device settings.
- Cap piercing – pipetting out of closed primary tubes.
- Continuous analysis of up to 100 samples possible (loading capacity).
- STAT mode – special sample position makes measuring an emergency sample easy.
- Storage capacity: 1100 results (incl. fraction graph).
- Integral bar code reader guarantees highly accurate and reliable identification of samples.
- Improved integral data management system with color screen.
- RS-232C port
- Size/weight: 530 x 530 x 530mm (W x D x H)/approx. 42 kg
